§ 20.08.080. Agreement for sites where service is inadequate or unavailable.
Latest version.
A certificate may be issued when water service is inadequate or unavailable for an
individual building site in the event a building permit has been erroneously issued
and construction has commenced, or when the forester and fire warden deems it appropriate,
provided the owner of property enters into an agreement with the county of Los Angeles
agreeing to install a water tank, if required by the fire department, and agreeing
to connect and to pay a proportionate share of costs incurred in the construction
of an adequate system when one becomes reasonably available. The property owner shall
record the agreement with the county and it shall bind all parties having or acquiring
any right, title or interest in the property.
