§ 7.36.140. Application—Public hearing—Notice requirements.

  • When application is filed for a new license under this chapter, the commission shall fix a time and place for a public hearing thereon. Not less than 10 days before the date of such hearing, the commission shall cause to be posted a notice of such hearing in a conspicuous place on the property in which or on which the proposed entertainment is to be conducted. Such notice shall set forth the specific type of entertainment which the applicant intends to conduct, as well as the type of entertainment license for which the applicant is applying. Such posting of notice will be caused to be carried out by the tax collector upon the written request of the business license commission.
