§ 7.24.030. Required.

  • A person shall not solicit within this county any contribution for any charitable purpose, or in the name of, or on behalf of, any charitable association unless such person first either obtains from the commission an information card issued pursuant to this chapter or pursuant to Ordinance 2777, entitled "An ordinance regulating the soliciting of contributions for charitable or philanthropic purposes in the county of Los Angeles," adopted July 27, 1936, or possesses a city information card which has been approved by the commission pursuant to Part 2 of this chapter, or pursuant to said Ordinance 2777.
