§ 3.54.040. Term of service—Removal.

At the first meeting of the commission the members thereof shall so classify themselves by lot that the term of two members will expire on July 1, 1965, and the term of three members will expire on July 1, 1966. Thereafter, each member shall serve for a term of two years and until his successor is duly appointed and qualified except that the board may remove any member at any time, in which case his successor shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term.
