A.

There is hereby continued the Los Angeles County commission on insurance, hereinafter referred to in this chapter as the "commission."

B.

The commission shall have 10 positions. A member of the commission shall be appointed to a vacant position by, and serve at the pleasure of the board of supervisors, which shall be referred to in this chapter as the "board."
