§ 7.80.150. License—Grounds for denial, suspension, revocation or cancellation.

  • In addition to the powers granted by Chapters 7.06 and 7.10 of this title, the business license commission may deny, revoke, suspend or cancel any taxicab operator's license if it finds that:

    A.

    The operation permitted by such license is or will be in violation of any local, state or federal law, statute, ordinance, order or regulation, including conditions imposed by the business license commission; or

    B.

    The level of service proposed or provided is inadequate to serve the public;

    C.

    The granting or continuance of such license is not justified by public convenience and necessity; or

    D.

    The granting or continuance of such license, for any reasonable cause, is or will be contrary to the general public welfare.
