§ 7.80.090. Reports by reviewing officers and departments.

  • Every officer, department or other body to which an application is referred may require such additional information and the filing of such additional forms which are pertinent to the activity of the applicant and deemed necessary, and shall advise, in writing, the business license commission of all material facts which such officer, department or body considers necessary or advisable for assisting the commission in determining whether an application for a taxicab operator's license should be granted or denied, or otherwise conditioned or modified. Such officer, department or other body may also give a recommendation in writing to the commission for the issuance, modification or denial of any license issued under Parts 1 and 2 of this chapter, and the commission shall read and consider any such recommendation in reaching a decision, although such recommendation will in no way be binding upon the commission.
