§ 7.08.250. Insurance or bond—Cancellation—Notice to licensee—License revoked when.

  • The tax collector shall notify the licensee in writing of any suspension pursuant to Section 7.08.240. Within five days thereafter, the licensee may request in writing a hearing before the business license commission or other appropriate tribunal. The business license commission or other appropriate tribunal shall hold a hearing as provided in this chapter and Section 7.06.090, and, as indicated by the evidence received at such hearing, revoke such license or terminate the suspension and restore the license. If the licensee does not request a hearing, the license is automatically revoked at the expiration of five days after notification of suspension.
