§ 7.02.150. Commission.

  • Except as specifically provided, the words "public welfare commission" and "commission" both mean the business license commission. In all matters relating to the licensing and monitoring of ambulance operations and ambulance personnel, and ambulette operators, ambulette drivers and ambulette attendants, however, the words "public welfare commission," "commission," "business license commission," "executive officer of the commission," "executive officer of the business license commission," and "executive assistant of the business license commission" shall refer to and mean the director of the department of health services of the county of Los Angeles or his/her duly authorized designee(s).
