§ 6504. PROJECTING SIGNS

Projecting signs attached to a building shall be constructed of noncombustible materials, or of any material complying with Sections 705.2.1 through 705.2.3. The thickness of any such sign shall not exceed the following:

For a maximum projection of 5 feet (1524 mm), a thickness of 2 feet (610 mm).

For a maximum projection of 4 feet (1219 mm), a thickness of 2 feet 6 inches (762 mm).

For a maximum projection of 3 feet (914 mm), a thickness of 3 feet (914 mm).
