§ 13.41.010. Definitions.

  • As used in this chapter:

    A.

    "Charge admission" means the demand and receipt of a tangible benefit, monetary or otherwise, which is a motivating influence for admission to the party. The customary courtesies and clearly noncommercial activity such as gifts by guests, sharing of expenses for dinner and beverages, or reciprocal hospitality, shall not be considered to be charge for admission. "Charge admission" does not include a donation for a political, charitable or religious purpose.

    B.

    "Party" means a group of persons meeting together for social, recreational or amusement purposes.

    C.

    "Residential zone" means residential zones as defined in Section 22.20.010 of this code.
